Jenny Mikesell, Licensed Associate Broker

Jenny moved to Williamsburg from Boston in 2002. At that time, she was working as an Art Director and Web Designer. Williamsburg was just beginning to really change dramatically. Seeking a career change, Jenny was inspired by a good friend to become a realtor and went to NYU to get her training. She worked with 3 different boutique firms beginning in Williamsburg, Bushwick and Ridgewood renting lofts, commercial spaces and selling 6 family homes before joining the sales team at Apartments and Lofts.com in 2005.

Since 2005, Jenny has been very dedicated to her clients helping them purchase a new home in Williamsburg or Bushwick. Jenny brings her extensive knowledge about each Brooklyn neighborhood and listens to what her customers are looking for and sticks by them through every step of the way. All of this is done with compassion and a a sense of humor. Jenny is also a homeowner and shares her 1st hand knowledge of owning and remodeling a home. She owns a 2 family home in Ridgewood that she completely gutted and remodeled with her husband over a 2 year period several years ago.

Jenny grew up in Boulder, Colorado in the 60s. She holds her Bachelor's Degree from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, Master Printer Certificate from Il Bisonte Etching School in Florence, Italy and a Masters of Fine Arts degree from The Boston Museum School/Tufts University. She continues to work and create in her art studio in her home on Eastern Long Island that she shares with her new husband and his 2 children, their 2 dogs, 2 cats, 1 cockateil and many fish.
